Post 3: My favorito cartoon

Imagen
Take time for me to think my favorite cartoon. I used to watch many cartoons when I was little. They were USA cartoons and japanese cartoons, which are call anime. I remember one called "Foster's home for imaginary friends", or another about monsters living on the sewer. Oh! Also one about a cat and a dog whom had united bodies. It was called "cat-dog" I think, haha. And about anime, it was one about a girl who travelled on time by falling into a water well, and arrived on a world where magic was real, and monsters, and beasts. There she met a boy called Inuyasha, which also is the name of the series. Another one about a boy who, some guys forced him to take a drug that turn him into someone younger. And he was a detective, so in every episode you had fun trying to resolve the mystery. But from all of it my favorite has to be called Ranma 1/2" which was about a chinese boy, who practice marcial arts with his dad. But they had a little problem. Once they had

Post 5: My future job

Although I am only in my first year, I have thought that, whatever I study, I would like to do something ecologistic. Related with nature, being in contact with it. As I am an architecture student, I would like to explore ways of do sustainable architecture. But also there's an área of architecture that I am really interested in. That part that is in charge of researching and maintaining historical heritage. And as I am getting more and more experience, I'd like to teach all things I learned, to keep that knowledge alive, and for people to make it better. Getting back to what I said at the beginning, there's something call "Eco Aldeas", which are litte villages where people live cooperating with others. If you search it on Youtube, you can watch videos about it. Something like that is what I mean. There are some here in Chile!

Post 4: How green am I?

Thinking about enviroment care is essential these days. It's on internet where I usually search for information about it. For example, how to recycle properly, how to separate our trash, etc.  Though I still have not totally incorporated recycle into my life. What I do is save the plastic bottles to carry them to a recycling point, but I'd like to do more. For example, there are people who gather used oil, and transform it into soaps. Or there are people who sold out their trash: organic and non-organic. But I still don't.  What I really like to do, and I prefer insted of going on car or public transport, is biking, for many reasons. It's a way of exercising, save money, and avoiding crowds of people.  Last summer I participated on a cleaning of a public space near the river in my city. That was a beautiful experience. But I'd always to do more. So every time I can, I read about enviromental issues, and what countries are doing about their politics on it.  I think

Post 2 : Songs and Memories

Imagen
Today I am going to tell you about two songs I like. The first one is called "Mariposa Tecnicolor", from Fito Páez. This song reminds me of when I was around five years old. Everybody at home likes Fito Paez, but the person I remember when I hear this song, is my dad. Come pictures to my mind of me and him, traveling from north to south, because he is from Iquique, and my sisters live in La Serena, so when I was little we used to do thouse trips, and he used to play these songs on the radio. So it's a good but nostalgic, melancholic feeling. But it feels good.  The second one is "Prófugos" from Soda Stereo. This one, as the first one, was usually heard at home when I was little. My siblings used to play it. Well, almost any Soda Stereo's song was played. So now, when I hear it, I remember of that moments. Walking by the hallway, feeling the warm wood on my feet, and my brother Max playing it on Youtube. Or at that time we used to download the song from a pr

Post 1: A country I would like to visit.

Imagen
The other day, I was spending some time on Youtube (which, by the way, it's my favorite platform on internet) and I found a video about a man living in Canada. He showed on his video this kind of supermarkets, but they are different, because you can take anything you need by cero cost. Everything it's free. There are jackets for that cold winter on north pole, there's a lot of preserved food, fruits, even the expensives ones, such as avocado. They give you meat, they give you milk also. Anything you want. So I liked. I like that about Canada. But not only for the free food, I mean, it's not about that. It's about the culture of giving, of being empathetic, and nice, and kind. Most of the people in that supermarket were foreigns. Here in Chile, we are not like that. So I think that's a country that could teach me a lot of how being a good world's citizen. These are good values. Also it's beautiful. Though I am not a winter girl, I would try to expend some

Practice

Well, as Miss Rosa requested, I'm going to write about what I think my skills and weaknesses are in this subject. I've realized that I can understand almost everything a native english speaker talks, but I still have to practice my listening. On the other hand, I can be understood by other people, who doesn't talk spanish, and neither are native english speakers, but they talk a little bit of english.
